Todd Richter/printmaking

These are some examples of prints created primarily during my M.F.A. studies  dated  1997 to 2000. Most plates are hand engraved aluminum using an electric engraving tool normally used for writing your name on tools and such. These works celebrate imagination and speak of an imagination beyond ourselves easily observed in nature.I have worked with many media....but I feel the direct black and white illustrations are so direct and clear...they are unmistakable as my original vision and hand work. I never knew this was in me until I tried....this inspires me..and hopefully others to explore and unlock their imagination!  thanks Todd Richter
